CHILDREN'S WORSHIP

Children's Worship at Calvary takes place during the second half of the worship service. This optional program is designed for children age 4 - completed 1st grade. Children's Worship is not merely child care nor is it another Sunday school class. Instead, the elements and wonder of the worship service are presented to children in an age-appropriate way to teach and nurture young worshipers of Jesus Christ, preparing them for a lifetime of private and congregational worship.

We use the curriculum, Young Children and Worship by Sonja M. Stewart and Jerome W. Berryman along with some additional stories from Following Jesus by Sonja M. Stewart and I Wonder by Janet Schreuder.
